Legal information, advice, and advocacy to empower Louisiana’s most vulnerable people.

Self-Help Resource Centers

Our centers offer guidance and support for those who need help navigating the courts.

The Centers serve as a starting point for people without legal representation required to navigate the court. Volunteer attorneys staff the Resource Centers and provide a number of services to self-represented litigants, including:

  • Assistance with Court Forms
  • Facilitated use of www.LawHelp.org/LA
  • Referrals to free legal aid services
  • Access to case information through the Clerk’s website
  • Answers to general inquiries about Domestic Court

Resource Center volunteers do not provide legal representation. For information or additional assistance, contact LCJC at 800-310-7029.
