LCJC Invited to speak at the New Orleans City Council Meeting

On April 22, 2015, LCJC was invited to present before the New Orleans City Council at the Criminal Justice Committee meeting. The purpose of the presentation was to increase awareness of the free legal services LCJC offers to the public. Councilmember-at-Large Jason Williams, District A Councilmember Susan Guidry, and District B Councilmember LaToya Cantrell praised the fellows for their hard work and dedication to serving the legal needs of the poor in the Greater New Orleans area, who otherwise may not have access to legal services.
